New Bike! I did a short hour road test on my new bike which is a Focus Cayo Expert.

OMG, I can't believe it. It's an extra sprocket or 2 uphill and feels so quick. Colin's concern about a carbon frame giving more vibration, didn't seem a worry at all, in fact it seemed to soak up road noise. Dura Ace shifters work with a flick of a finger when you adjust the brain to shift in the right direction. Saddle felt a bit hard, ultegra 09 pedals clicked in and felt solid.

Nice morning- -sunny and a bit of salt on the road in places. Cycled along for a bit with a bloke from Cranfield, so I ended up going that way. Strong easterly and icey cold wind.

I'm all keen again.
